Captain Mike grew up fishing and hunting in Kansas and discovered his true calling on the waters of Hawaii after moving here following high school. He began charter fishing in 1988 and has since built a career spanning more than three decades, fishing professionally across the Hawaiian Island chain—from the Big Island to Midway Atoll—as well as in Palmyra, Alaska, and Guatemala.
